In the past two weeks, we have learned that TBI Fund sponsorship for people with stroke and aphasia will be rescinded unless we reverse the present proposal changes.  The Fund is supported by a fifty-cent surcharge on NJ vehicle registrations.  With the number of recipients now above 7,000, the Fund cannot support expenditures.  Rather than raise the surcharge, the proposals seek to limit services, including total elimination of people with stroke and aphasia from the eligible target population.

Please download the enclosed "Talking Points" document and sample letters.  Add to, or adapt the letter to be a meaningful one for you, and send it to :
